Watching a show with their "magic scarves"

My nurturing little love couldn't get enough of this baby

Off to te farmer's market with Jeff after work

Having a dessert picnic

So happy to be climbing a tree. We don't have any climbable
ones at our house so it was a treat.

Of course when Liam saw her in a tree he had to get up there too.
Forgive the four pictures of the same thing, they were all so cute I
just couldn't choose!

Snack time fun. Calynn loves making me shapes and letters out of
pretzels (one of her favorite snacks). Today I made her a number 3  to reciprocate.
As soon as I did she insisted that I make the letters of her name so that she could put
the 3 on top of it. I wasn't sure that I could, but here is what I came up with.
Not too bad if I do say so myself...

Silly face, looking tanner already.

Showing me his pretzel.

What a big kid!

My silly boy and I

My sweet boy slipped and hit his nose on his little table.
This picture actually makes it look much better then it does
in real life.

After riding the carousel and looking at the ducks we decided
to stop by Ben and Jerry's for some ice cream before heading
to the library (busy afternoon).

Calynn enjoying her chocolate...

while Liam enjoys his vanilla.

Wearing her new headbands and writing a thank you
note to her Nana and Papa. She saw the note cards
in the store and had to have them. She has been planning
all sorts of people to write to. The stamps and putting the flag up
on the mailbox give her such joy.

We went to a friends house for dinner and had a wonderful time.
It turned colder and later then expected however and
our hosts had planned on making s'mores outside. This lead to Liam borrowing
their daughters coat, which he loved. Jeff captured this picture of Liam's first s'more
on his cell phone.

Calynn and I snuggling up while she enjoys her first s'more of the year.

Crazy cheese face when he sees the camera

Busy girl working on an art project. As soon as she saw the feathers
she asked me to trace her hand so that she could make a turkey. She loves working with
the liquid glue instead of a glue stick, and actually has great control.
The pom poms turned into snow people.

May 16

After taking a nap on his cot, he decided he was
still tired and fell asleep on the living room floor.

So happy with the finger puppets we made

"Sewing" together with animal lacing cards

Figuring out what the gift is...

After a wonderful breakfast of waffles and bacon
made by Jeff and the kids, we spent some time at the park.

Two Moms with two kids

Grandma holding onto the Liam boy

Throwing rocks in the stream

LOVE this picture of these two

So funny how my poor Mom looks afraid of getting hit by the rock, and Liam's tongue is sticking out...

Looking down the tire tunnel

Practicing the monkey bars

a little rock wall help from Dad

that tongue again!
