Aunt Tara with Calynn

This was Calynn's first "Thanksgiving meal" which
we had on Saturday for just the three of us.

Playmat

Calynn has always seemed to enjoy her playmat, recently though she has really started to focus in on the animals attached to it. There is a dog, bird and ladybug that she stares at and talks to. When she talks to us, we always repeat the same sound back to her, we think she gets a bit frustrated when the animals don't do the same!

2 month Doctor visit

Calynn now weighs 11 pounds 4 ounces (60th %), has a head circumference of 15.25 inches (50th %), and is 25 inches long (off the charts). She did a great job with her shots, she was a bit uncomfortable and cranky for a few hours, but is now just a little more tired then usual.

So many new things!

I have come to realize that there are an infinite number of "firsts" in a babies new little life. I thought that I would share with you a sample of firsts that happened just this past week.

11/13- First time in a resturant (Panera Bread with Dawn and Gianna)
11/15- First time going to the mall (She loved the Christmas displays!)
11/16- First time without Mom or Dad (Grandma came to babysit)
11/17- First time Calynn saw snow
11/18- First nonrelated playgroup
11/19- First time receiving shots

Too cute to post just one

Calynn And Mom ran out for some errands today, and Calynn behaved like a little angel. She really seemed to enjoy the fresh air, smiling at the sky and talking alot. We have a beautiful 60 degree day here so we decided to take advantage of it before the winter comes.
