July 15

She just loves putting this hat on all by herself.

Exploring the items from the forgotten toy ottoman.
It had probably been months since she has opened this.

"Cheers" with the Easter eggs

A happy girl after having an ice cream cone treat with Jeff

July 12

This is Calynn's first time eating cantaloupe by the slice.
I usually cube it for her, but when she saw the "big kids"
eating it this way she couldn't wait to join them.

July 10

Calynn and Jeff walking around before the wedding ceremony began.

Doing her best to sit still with her Nana and Papa.

Sleepy snuggles with Mom

A slow dance

Glowsticks with Uncle Joe and cousin Liz

July 8

Our most successful play dough experience to date. We
made our own, and Calynn was able to watch the other children
as an example of how to use it. Prior to this there was a lot of
eating involved.

July 4

4th of of July in the park. Calynn's first time being awake during
fireworks was a success. She didn't seem to mind the noise at all,
and alternated between asking for more, and asking to go to bed.

Ice cream party with Job and Tara

Calynn's first glow stick experience

Keeping herself busy while waiting for the fireworks to begin.

July 3

Calynn enjoying her cup of Calynn coffee (aka cocoa)
on a relaxing Saturday morning.

Calynn's cute quote of the morning -
While trying to color with pink chalk on pink construction paper, she hands me the piece of chalk and says " pink needs new batteries". The words she is putting together now amaze me every day.

July 1

Falling asleep on the couch as I was getting lunch ready.
Unfortunately those were the only few minutes of a nap she
had for the day. This first full week of running a home day
care has been an adjustment for all of us.

June 28

Calynn LOVES corn on the cob. She usually won't touch vegetables,
but this is certainly the exception. She ate two entire ears, there
wasn't a single kernel left!

June 24

Trying to finger paint, but very wary of any paint on her hands.

Settling in to painting with a brush.

June 21

Calynn helping her Dad fill up her new sprinkler.
