I took the kids to a park that we love but had not been
to in a while for some reason. Calynn just loved these
big chair swings.
Liam mostly wanted to run, climb, explore.
He did keep his sister company for a few minutes though.
This park has little wooden play houses. They were peeking in the
window when I went around to the door and surprised them.
Back and forth through the tunnel
We were joined at the park by my friend Mary and her
son George who is the same age as Liam.
Calynn was great at this, and Liam really wished he could be too.
Liam is very interested in dogs now. He points them out everywhere.
Naturally he was drawn to this rock wall.
Exploring
Calynn way up in the tower
She could barely see out the window on her tiptoes.
Calynn was saying "take my picture Mama, I want to
show Dada how high up I am"!
Trying to be brave and go down the big slide
Really unsure at this point and afraid she will get "zapped"
(by the static electricity of the plastic slide). She did eventually make it
down right before we left.
Mary sweetly giving Calynn a swinging lesson.
Snack time
After lunch and nap we headed out for an ice cream
cone treat. A pretty messy adventure with these two.
