Calynn Practicing Standing

On Sunday Saratoga had a big Mardi Gras festival. There were many activities including a Cajun food competition. There were samples of Gumbo, Jambalaya, desserts and hurricanes to taste and vote for your favorite. Most of them were pretty amazing, and we had a great day! Calynn and I are posing with an entertainer, one of the many tulip beds, and the antique carousel. (Which hasn't opened up yet unfortunately).

This is one of Calynn's first times using this to feed herself. She was eating avacado, which turns out to be very messy. Here she is not sure what to make of it, gives it another try...and then success!

This was Calynn's first time meeting her Great, Great Aunt Theresa. They took to each other right away, Calynn reached right out for her as soon as Theresa walked in.

Today we went to a family get together, there were four of her little cousins there. Calynn had so much fun watching them and being passed around between her Grandma and 6 Aunts. Here are two pictures with Grandma and two with her cousin Gianna and Aunt Amy.
