Fresh Air

Saturday was beautiful and warm so we had Calynn outside for some fresh air to try to clear up her cold. Jeff did some yard work while we kept it low key. Calynn had fun practicing her sitting and looking up on her Dad. (This beautiful play blanket was handmade by my friend Beth.)

It's hard to believe, but our little baby girl is six months old today. Happy half Birthday Calynn!

Todays cousin playdate was at our house (Thabi was sleeping during this shot). Calynn hadn't gotten a chance to show off her St.Patrick's day wear yet, so she took the opportunity today.

Moments later this is what I discovered!

Calynn has decided that there is no place like on mom to be day and night. Since certain things are hard to do with the babybjorn (dishes, cooking etc.) this is our new solution!

We went for a family walk in the park on the weekend. Calynn slept through the whole thing and only woke up when we were back in the parking lot. Here we are showing her the trees, snow and sun near the car for a few minutes.

This framed picture was created by Jeff's maternal Grandmother. Everytime that Calynn passes it she squeals and gets all excited while reaching out for it. These pictures don't really do the reaction justice, but we wanted to share the story. We like to think that Calynn's Great-grandma is sending her some good vibes that Calynn is responding to.
