Calynn taking her first bite of a hard boiled egg. We had tried

with no success in the past, but this morning Jeff called them
"Calynn's special eggs" and it seemed to do the trick.

Licking off the salt she had helped her Dad sprinkle on.

Sleepy girl, having such a hard time adjusting to one
nap a day that she fell asleep on the couch while
we were reading books.

Calynn's first time sleeping on a cot! It took her and hour to
fall asleep, but she was proud of herself for taking a "big girl nap".

We went to a lake just a few minutes from our home for Memorial day.
It was Calynn's first time putting her toes in a natural body of water.
She loved every second of it, and the water was really warm.

As you can see in the background, the section roped off with

the lifeguard was pretty crowded. We stole a few quiet
moments out of bounds before we were spoken to.
