4th of of July in the park. Calynn's first time being awake during fireworks was a success. She didn't seem to mind the noise at all, and alternated between asking for more, and asking to go to bed.

Calynn's cute quote of the morning -
While trying to color with pink chalk on pink construction paper, she hands me the piece of chalk and says " pink needs new batteries". The words she is putting together now amaze me every day.
Falling asleep on the couch as I was getting lunch ready. Unfortunately those were the only few minutes of a nap she had for the day. This first full week of running a home day care has been an adjustment for all of us.
Calynn LOVES corn on the cob. She usually won't touch vegetables, but this is certainly the exception. She ate two entire ears, there wasn't a single kernel left!
