September 6

A goodbye hug for Nana

Calynn loved these antique horses we found
in the store at the apple farm.

Picnicking on some apple cider doughnuts
before heading out to the orchard.

Toting her apple bag around.

Picking some low hanging apples with me.

Looking at some high ones with her Dad.

Walking around with some of her favorites.

Helping her Papa find a good one.

Our first apple picking adventure together.

September 5

Calynn and her Papa had a wonderful time
building block towers together this weekend.

September 4

At Calynn's request, we made blueberry muffins for breakfast.
She really can't get enough of baking!

August 30

Calynn was having a tea party this morning with Ernie,
Bert and Mickey. She decided they should move from
the table to somewhere more "comfy".

The comfy spot ended up being the steps, Jaiden and
her pig join in on the fun.

These two friends were discussing their aprons and hat.

Lining up the cars so they can be ready for their drive.

August 29

Calynn and I making biscuits together
for our Sunday morning breakfast.

This girl loves flour. She watches as I put flour on my hands,
rolling pin and counter. I'm sure she must be thinking....
"If Mom can put flour everywhere why can't I?"

After breakfast we headed out to the park.
This is her favorite slide there.

After the park we did a nap and lunch, and then braved our pool. It was a bit cool, but the day was so hot that it felt refreshing and fun. We love our family pool time, and are trying to squeak out every last opportunity of the season.

August 22

Calynn saying goodbye to her Nana and Papa
(with her most recent best friend Micky Mouse).

Calynn and her Nana checking out the huge horse
statue outside of the restaurant P.F. Chang's.

August 21

With the rain looking like it would start any minute
we decided to do a backwards dinner and have our S'more
dessert first. Here Papa shucks the corn as Jeff prepares to
roast some marshmallows. Nana and Calynn look on to advise.

Helping Papa shuck the corn

Jeff giving Calynn her first S'more

First she pulls it apart...

Looking at her fingers after she removed the
graham crackers.

Deciding to just lick the melted marshmallow
and chocolate from her fingers.

August 7

Jeff and I took Calynn to a truck show.
Calynn took her turn here ringing the
bell on the firetruck.

On the school bus with Dad

She just loved these ride on trucks

Happy to have a balloon shaped like a flower
