Here Calynn is wearing the Easter dress that her cousin Elena wore for Easter last year. She certainly is a girl of many faces!

I think her sideways expression here is hilarious!

Grandma came for brunch in the morning, and Calynn had so much fun eating, skyping, and playing with her.

Easter 2009

Our day started with Calynn discovering what the Easter bunny brought her. First she sees her bunny, then her pop up book, and then her little Irish t-shirt. The organic carrots didn't really grab her attention, we will have to see what she thinks once they are pureed.

Today was her first time sitting alone in the rocker (I was an arms length away obviously). She didn't give the camera any big smiles, but she was having a lot of fun!

Sleep update

Proof that Calynn does sleep in her crib. Some nights she'll go 10 straight hours, and others only three. She keeps the nights interesting though, you never know what to expect! These pictures are from nap time, she'll usually sleep for an hour at time.

Calynn had her 6 month check up today. She had to get three shots, but did a great job at recieving them. She loved the pinwheel that they gave her as a distraction, and there was hardly any crying. The doctor was impressed at her sitting ability, she can sit independently now but doesn't catch herself to stop from falling yet. He predicts that her teeth are still a month away from cutting through the gums. Calynn now weighs 16.7 pounds (60%), is 27 inches tall (90%), and has a head circumference of 16 1/2 inches (50%).
