Calynn Is Here!!!!

Calynn Emily Murphy was born on September 19th, 2008. She weighed in at 7lbs 12oz and 21.25" long. We are all a little tired but her Papa Dan made a photo show to document her first couple days of her life. Check back in for more photos to come.

Family update

Just a note to update all those interested-
I had a doctors appointment again this morning. Calynn's heart rate and movement were checked, as was the amniotic fluid level. Everything was as it should be, plenty of fluid and lots of movement.
I have another appointment on Friday, at that point if she hasn't arrived we will schedule an induction for next week.
Please keep us in your thoughts and wish us patience during this uncertain waiting phase!

Calynn's Profile 9/12/08

This is a close up of Calynn's profile. I will describe the picture as best as I can since I know it's kindof hard to tell what you are looking at. The lightest part in the middle of the picture is her cheek. Her closed eyelid, with long lashes is just above it. To the left of her cheek is her nose, and just below that is her upper lip, with her hand going across her bottom lip and chin. From the information taken during the ultrasound the technician estimates her weight to be 7 lbs 6oz, which puts her in the 56th percentile. Calynn remains healthy and active, and just waiting for the right moment to make her debut.
